With just 15 hours to go, you will all be delighted to know that the Talking Tech 2gether session is really starting to come together.
Here's how it is going to work. First up, we will have a very brief (I promise!) presentation on what this social web stuff is all about. Then we'll be playing a game, inventing some scenarious and challenges, and then figuring out how web tech, blended with lofi bits, can make things better. This is going to be very practical and very interactive.
We'll have some cool people hanging around too, all willing to describe and demonstrate the various services and sites we will be talking about, so no one can possibly get left behind. We also have plenty of handouts and guides, thanks to the likes of Paul Caplan, Colin McKay and Tim Davies. Thanks, guys.
So yay! to those who have signed up so far, and yay! to those who will sign up soon or just turn up on the day. Do bring your friends along as well, it might help to have difference perspectives on similar issues. You never know.
See you tomorrow folks!
If you want web copies of some of the one page guides mentioned in the session you can find them at http://timdavies.org.uk/tags/onepage
Some more specially developed for 2gether08 to come as soon as I can find a network with good enough upload speeds...

This session is going to be a really interactive one, involving the whole group examining some issues and challenges and working out which Web 2.0 and Social Media tools can be used to meet them.
But it's not just about the tech - we'll be blending offline, lo-fi stuff too.
All this in 45 minutes! You'd be mad not to come along.
