Since running our first Social Innovation Camp in April 2008, we’ve been inundated by emails from people wanting to copy our model. Great, go ahead: borrow it, bend it, break it and re-make it. Come along to find out how to create your own Social Innovation Camp and hear what our team have got planned next.

Just wanted to add a bit more info on what Dan and I will be talking about tomorrow.

We have nine lessons that we learnt from running Social Innovation Camp. We started this project in Jan 08 with the intention that the Camp model would spread virally with people running their own. So this session will be all about stealing this Camp: copy us and make it better. We’d love to hear how you get on.

We're also after some input into helping us develop where the Social Innovation Camp project goes next. I'm interested in hearing ideas on:

1.) What areas of social need we should be focusing on. Could we run our next event focusing on one area of need, such as education or health?

2.) Social Innovation Camp was about building a new model for innovation: who is experimenting with other formats? I'm also interested in people working on new approaches to developing software - we've had great conversations with Headshift, Xchangelab and MySociety - and also those working with new forms of product and service design - the Think Publics and IDEOs of this world.

3.) Finally, we're interested in meeting people and projects who'd like to get involved next time - come along, learn about what we're up to and be part of the next Social Innovation Camp.

And for anyone who can't make it tomorrow morning, there's always Social Innovation Camp: The Movie to fill you in on what we're about:
