We are gradually working our way through the 20 hours of tape and DVD from sessions in the theatre and gym to produce videos from the webcasts. You'll find the opening sessions, the Spectator debate and JP on Cluetrain + 10 over here. In addition, George Por is suggesting a co-designed event Lead2Innovate4Change here
My thanks to Steve Moore and all the folk at Channel 4 for making this event possible. It was a great opportunity to meet a lot of interesting and talented individuals. Will be following developments with interest, and pitching in if I see something I can help with (especially anything to do with developing virtual communities of practice). Looking forward to the next steps....whatever they are!
It is cool to see that my argument that I gave at the thumbs up/down session ("You don't need a web site, you need a good facebook presence") is actually now backed up by Gartner research: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7501073.stm
Hi everyone I am trying to make contact with Gavin Alexander from Burnt Progress, he gave me a flyer with the website and email but the email is bouncing back - anyone have his contact details??? Thanks

Ok i was there. And 2Gether was a super fabulous, thought-provoking event. But i'm wondering where all that content on the day went? Are there vlogs/blogs etc that i'm missing out on? ...
You'll find all photos from Flickr tagged 2gether08 displayed in a slideshow on the main site, and also here http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/2gether08. Thanks everyone - more please, if you haven't uploaded.
I've just posted a round-up of blog items about 2gether08 over on the main site ... where you will also find the first of the session videos we'll be producing. This one is of the Spectator debate, and I've also pulled Bill Thompson's speech from the New Statesman New Media Awards session.
I saw a few people tagging "happiness" at the conference. If that was any of you, and you'd be interested in chatting more about a SE we're starting up to give people some tools and an experience that helps them start living a better life, get in touch. People say happiness isn't something you can chase. True, but it's something that can be at the centre of your life's decisions, can guide you to making your life better. It's things like: - what ... The best 2.0 event i have been to. And i've been to a diverse managerie of ideas, get togethers, mash-ups and conferences. 2Gether managed entertaining, high octane quality. And that can be a rare thing as far as Andrew Keen's 'cult of the amateur' goes. I cannot thank everyone involved with setting this up enough for letting me be part of it. And i look forward to future debates, discussions and diversions :-)
Heyho, thanks to the organizers for a great event and I had a splendid time meeting a lot of you. I've put my few photos on flickr and wrote a (geek point of view) post on the YDN.
keeping up with the good vibe at 2gether8, join our next Interactive Workshop in Social Awareness and Social Facility ! Facilitating Social Intelligence: a Woman Thing? How can we best produce a healthy and intelligent community... How do you engage, communicate and keep stakeholders? How do you best learn and collaborate? Are women better at facilitating social intelligence? (Does it matter?…) The audience will have the opportunity to listen to ... [read more]
That was a right laugh; thanks to the organisers for making it happen, and the participants for rolling up their sleeves and getting on with the serious business of meeting up, sharing ideas, learning from eachother and all that stuff. I will be posting a brief review of the live tag surfing lessons learnt in due course over on my blog, which I will cc here. Enjoy your weekends, all!
What a fantastic event. Steve, you have achieved a rare thing; a diverse and yet focused and sophisticated event which has enabled new ventures, new ideas and new opportunities. I cannot thank you enough for letting me be part of it.
Well another great day. Top marks for the ice cream on the roof, Oli's Catalist awards, Michelle's interviewing (a star in the making), Mark's session which flagged up the need to be both smarter in our thinking and less nuanced in our delivery, and of course Big XXX Steve. My apologies to those who I did not get to meet and even bigger apologies to those I did :) Roll on 2gether09!
Paul S Young is personally selling his amazing chocolate and icecream on the roof of Rochelle School. Here's the video >

I've spent a lot of my day at 2gether trying to give people a sense of what youth work really is. I've just blogged a quick primer here: http://www.timdavies.org.uk/2008/07/02/what-youth-work-anyway
A great first day, Lots of good sessions and loads of interesting people. Day 2 is going to have a lot to live up to.
Have you been talking about young people at 2gether? Whether or not you were at the 'Towards an innovation lab for youth work 2.0' - head over to the follow up at http://tinyurl.com/5yc3cy What does the media/third/government sector need to make online engagement with young people work well? What should we be doing to support and education young people and services to help us get beyond the 'moral panic' risk culture...
Hi all - we'll be using the messaging system Twitter throughout 2gether08 ... which you can follow on your laptop or phone. If you aren't familiar with Twitter, here's some instructions. Please use the tag #2gether08 in messages (the instructions explain that ... you need to follow http://twitter.com/hashtags for that to work). You can see what those attending are talking about generally, here. Additional Twitter tips from experienced event tweet... [read more]

We have a live webcast of main speakers here http://www.mogulus.com/2gether08. Thanks Richard Jolly!
Just about to hop on the bus in Toulouse and head to London - unfortunately no way I could be at 2gether08 for the morning of the first day. Looking forward to it all and meeting plenty folk.
There are a few of us at 2gether08 this week who met for the first time at Social Innovation Camp (for which I can't praise highly enough). At the camp, a group of us came together to see if it was possible to use the web to change peoples experiences of visiting someone in prison. After two days of discussion, building a prototype and claiming second prize, the answer was a resounding YES! Amongst other things, I am at 2gether08 in hope we can g... [read more]
Blimey, just been looking at the schedule, looks like there is a lot of brilliant stuff to choose from. Just to say we are going to be working all day (starting actually earlier than the programme says, from about 10am) on an evolving tapestry of ideas up on the wall - glimpses of a distant potential future for London. So even if you are stacked with talks to attend, networks to network with and whatever, do drop in and have a browse at some poin... [read more]
The detailed programme for our two days 2gether is now available here. It's on Slideshare, so you can click full screen to see it online, and also download the file. You can then look at the schedule on this site, and sign up for sessions. A small plea: it would be a great help if you do that before tomorrow - it will help us manage a really busy programme ... and help you get to the sessions you want to attend.
